guaranteed by the Khazanah. RAM Ratings has reaffirmed the AAA rating of the sukuk issues of these financing conduits with a
stable outlook in December 2020.

1Ihsan Sukuk was the first programme approved under the Securities Commission Malaysia’s Sustainable and Responsible Investment Sukuk (“SRI”) framework. Proceeds were utilised to fund schools under Yayasan AMIR’s (“YA”) Trust School Programme. YA is a not-for-profit foundation incorporated by Khazanah to improve accessibility of quality education in Malaysian Government schools through a Public-Private Partnership with the Ministry of Education.
Since 2004, Khazanah continues to issue exchangeable sukuk/bonds as well as plain vanilla sukuk/bonds to meet its USD funding requirements.
