AMAN RESORTS TO DEVELOP ITS FIRST RESORT IN MALAYSIA AT ISKANDAR DEVELOPMENT REGION

Khazanah Nasional Berhad (“Khazanah”) announced today that it had entered into a Heads of Agreement with Kota Selat Tebrau Sdn Bhd (“KST”), Symphony International Holdings Limited and Aman Resorts Limited (“Aman Resorts”) to develop an Aman Resort in the Iskandar Development Region.

Signing on behalf of Khazanah was its Managing Director, Dato’ Azman Mokhtar whilst Symphony International Holdings Limited was represented by its Chairman Anil Thadani. Aman Resorts Chairman Adrian Zecha signed on behalf of Aman Resorts. The signing was witnessed by The Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Chief Minister of Johor.

The resort will be the first hotel that Aman Resorts will be designing, building and operating in Malaysia and is expected to be completed some time in 2009. Further details on the resort will be released closer to its completion date. Definitive agreements are expected to be entered into in the second quarter of 2007 and the appropriate announcements will be made in due course.
