Goh Ching Yin was appointed as a Board Member of Khazanah effective 31 July 2018.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cranfield University and has extensive experience in capital market strategy, development and regulation, investment banking, regional business development, strategic consulting, corporate recovery and insolvency, and auditing.

He previously served as Executive Director of the Chairman’s Office, Strategy and Development, and Market Oversight at the Securities Commission Malaysia. Prior to this, he held several senior leadership positions, including Managing Director, Corporate Finance at BNP Paribas Group (Malaysia), Chief Executive Officer of Southern Investment Bank Berhad, and Chief Representative of BNP Peregrine Sdn Bhd. He has also held prominent roles at RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Berhad, Renong Group, and Price Waterhouse Associates.

He has served on the boards of several prominent organisations, including Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, Maybank Investment Holding Sdn Bhd, Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad, and Allianz Malaysia Berhad.

He is currently the Chairman and Independent Non‑Executive Director of Maybank Asset Management Singapore Pte Ltd and Maybank Securities Pte Ltd and also serves on the boards of Maybank Asset Management Group Berhad and Shangri‑La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad.
