Aaron Chandrasakaran joined Khazanah in June 2026. He brings more than two decades of investment banking experience, most recently as Managing Director, Head of Investment Banking Coverage, Asia Pacific at Jefferies in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he was Managing Director, Head of Investment Banking at Citigroup Investment Banking in Hong Kong.

He has extensive experience across private and public capital formation and strategic advisory, with regional connectivity to leading corporates and families, sovereign wealth funds and asset managers.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude. A trained classical musician, he obtained the Fellowship of Trinity College London (FTCL) diploma in Violin Performance and has represented Malaysia internationally in various music festivals including the Asian Youth Orchestra.
