Faris joined Khazanah in June 2019 as part of the Portfolio Risk Management team within Governance, Risk & Compliance (“GRC”), before transitioning to the Public Markets team in Investments in 2021. He currently serves as Co-Head of Public Markets, providing top-down investment strategies and framework across active-passive spectrum, equity styles, regions and sectors.

Prior to joining Khazanah, he held roles at ValueCAP, CIMB, and the Employees Provident Fund (“EPF”). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & Actuarial Science from the University of Southampton and holds both the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (“CIPM”) and the Financial Risk Manager (“FRM”) certification.
