Our hope is to groom the next generation of leaders in business and industry so that they can transform and make substantial contributions to Malaysia’s government-linked companies (GLCs) and other top organisations in Malaysia or around the world.
The journey starts with offering deserving scholars a full scholarship under the Khazanah Scholarship Programme to study at premier universities around the world or in Malaysia. Ensuring financial support represents merely one part of the equation. An exciting and rewarding journey awaits you through the broad range of development programmes planned for Khazanah’s Scholars.

Ensuring financial support represents merely one part of the journey.
We provide a broad range of opportunities for Khazanah scholars including: -

Furthermore, on a case by case basis, we provide financial support to deserving scholars to pursue life-enriching experiences such as learning an additional language, taking on short technical courses, attending international conferences or to take a year-out for volunteer work.
Once you graduate, your assignment with Khazanah to serve the scholarship bond is also well thought out and planned with your best interest in mind.

Our scholarship agreement makes conditional provisions for scholars to work, within a limited duration, with other organisations before they return to serve the scholarship bond.
When a company is assigned to you to serve your scholarship bond, we will meet you regularly to determine your further developmental and career needs.
You will also be part of a virtual network throughout your career (in and out of your scholarship bond term) and will automatically be an alumni member. Regular gatherings, updates on progress and sharing of experiences are some of the scholar development programmes we carry out to help you throughout your career.
